Seattle Still has the Hottest Housing Market

Even as home price increases have been slowing, Seattle continues to have the fastest growing housing market in the nation. Across the greater Seattle area, the average cost of a single-family home was 10.4 percent more in November than a year ago.

Seattle Times writer Mike Rosenberg states that this is the third straight month that Seattle has led the nation with the hottest housing market after a nine-year stretch without being on top.
