Best Fall Activities on Bainbridge Island

Leaves are changing and golden hues are emerging, the weather is cooling, and shorter days mean cozy nights in with a good book or popcorn movie night. But when you do decide to leave your comfy home and venture out, pumpkin spice latte in hand, Bainbridge Island has plenty of festive fall events on the calendar this season. From pumpkin scavenger hunts to wine tasting suggestions, we’re covering the best ways to really get into the spirit this autumn, all within our own beloved community.

Visit Suyematsu Farms

Founded in 1928, Suyematsu Farms is a Bainbridge institution. With Christmas trees in winter and berries in the summer, this farm is a year-round fun zone. But we’re partial to the festive fall season where visitors can walk through pumpkin patches and pick one out to be carved, cooked, or as the perfect front porch decoration.

Go Wine Tasting

Boasting seven wineries on the island, there are plenty of choices when deciding where to enjoy a crisp autumn afternoon as you sample some of the best wines in the area. If you want to have a fully local experience, then check out Bainbridge Vineyards where they produce wine made from grapes grown right there on their own seven acres. Eleven Winery and Fletcher Bay Winery often have live music events, so check out their schedule if you’re in the mood for some great tunes as well.
