Bainbridge Island is home to an assortment of restaurants; from Italian cuisines and Vietnamese fusion, to high-end dining options. As you embrace your adventurous side and find your inner “foodie”, these restaurants are sure to be some of Bainbridge Island’s best. 

Via Rosa 11

Via Rosa 11 is a genuine, Italian restaurant on Bainbridge Island and according to restaurant-goers, you’ll find some of the best Italian cuisine in Washington here. While the establishment itself is very quaint and cozy, the food is sure to impress your taste buds.

Proper Fish

Satisfy all your seafood needs at Proper Fish on Madison Ave North. The head chef and owner, originally a London native, boasts a secret technique on cooking the perfect cod. The menu options range from fish sandwiches to fried oysters, seafood salads and even a daily rotating chowder.

Ba Sa

Ba Sa opened on Bainbridge Island in September 2019 and has found itself dubbed as a popular Vietnamese-cuisine restaurant on the island. Two siblings, a brothers and sister, own the restaurant and handcraft traditional Vietnamese cuisines with a Northwest twist. The pair also owns a sister restaurant, Pho T&N, located in Poulsbo, Washington.

Bruciato

A true testament to Neapolitan pizza, Bruciato is an authentic pizzeria on the island with exquisite ingredients meant to make the perfect pie. On the menu you’ll find a variety of toppings like delicious, aged prosciutto, giant Pacific octopus, and more.

Hitchcock

One of the finer, and locally sourced restaurants on Bainbridge Island, Hitchcock opened in 2010 and has since been ranked in the top ten Best New Restaurants by both the Seattle Times and Seattle Magazine. Head chef and owner, Brandon McGill, was even named as the People’s Best New Chef in Food and Wine Magazine in 2013. The menu offerings range from flavorful Discovery Bay clams to savory dry-aged beef ribeye.

The Harbour Public House

Built in 1881, the pub has undergone several updates and renovations, but holds a tremendous amount of history. The menu offers a variety of shellfish and seafood, burgers, sandwiches and more. Best of all, they source their menu from organic vendors in Washington. 

Agate Restaurant

This new favorite was previously located in Suquamish, Wash., and was formerly known as Agate Pass Café. After moving to the island in 2018, it has been a nonstop hit. Their menu rotates on a seasonal basis and offers dishes you won’t see elsewhere. One of their current specials includes a Grilled Painted Hills Rib Eye steak for Two. This menu is bound to make your mouth water!
