Events Around Bainbridge Island

Spring is in the air and there are many upcoming events here on the island! Here are some great upcoming options...

Saturday, March 18, 7pm: Gypsy Jazz Concert with Michael Gray. The concert will feature music from Ranger and the "Re-Arrangers" repertoire of swing standards and traditional Gypsy melodies. Admission is free but space is limited.

Sunday, March 19, 3pm: Artist Lecture by Featherfolio artist Chris Maynard. Reception with light food and drink after a brief talk about his sources of inspiration and reasons behind his artwork. Adults are $10 but students are free with pre-registration.

March 20, 22, 27, 29: AARP Tax Assistance. Free and confidential, walk-in tax assistance. Some of these dates are different times, so please be sure to check the right event page for more details. 

Thursday, March 23, 6:30pm: Women, Converts, and Azerbaijanis Need Not Apply. A reading with Bainbridge's own Rabbi Strasko from Congregation Kol Shalom. His new novel is set in a fictionalized synagogue in modern-day Germany. 

Friday, March 24, 7:30pm and Saturday, March 25 at 3pm & 7:30pm: Amabile Choir Spring Concert. The program will feature Faure Requiem, and will include other selections of peace, hope, and comfort from composers such as Purcell and Wilberg. Suggested donation of $15.

Tuesday, March 28, 10am to 3pm: Friends of the Library Book Sale. All proceeds benefit Bainbridge Public Library. (More upcoming dates in April and May, as well).

Friday, March 31, 12pm to 5:30pm: Cat Cafe Adoption Event. Join the Kitsap Humane Society for free coffee, free snacks and free cats! All fees for adoptions of adult cats will be free!
