I have been selling homes on Bainbridge Island for almost 30 years (wow its been that long) and have loved every minute of it, but the last 7 years have been some of the most interesting of my career. Whether you attribute it to Amazon, the economy, sluggish home building, or all three ... we have seen unprecedented home value increases which show no sign yet of letting up.
This chart really highlights how unique Seattle is, even compared to other booming West Coast cities like San Francisco. That green line? That is Seattle. And since the beginning of 2017 we have been pulling away quickly from the others. This year alone we are up close to 15% year-over-year. Incredible!
